Today I added a new perspective in the Fashion Illustration vs Fashion Design Sketch category, this time from one of the most talented fashion illustrator.

“I suppose it all depends on the individuals perception but I agree that it could be debated.
For me personally, a fashion illustration is anything that may be influenced from anything fashion related, but I know that a lot of fashion can also be influenced from anything for example a rock, a movie, a landscape photograph.
My view on fashion illustration is more a perception of beauty. I have a friend that is also designing clothes with me but she cannot draw, and I know that together we come up with the most amazing ideas and designs just by explaining it.
I think fashion illustration is all about fantasy that can be manipulated and influenced to reality, and I also think that it is the addiction… Not sure how to get my feeling out about it in words, but I guess back to my work as an example, I do not always include the fashion clothing per say, but it is a direct influence from the fashion view most of the time … “
