Why To Have a Sketchbook?
Every fashion designer have his personalized sketchbook. This little thing is very useful because it allows your creative ideas to flow free. It is designed to do the “thinking”.
I always have a sketchbook. I use to draw sketches that blow into my mind everyday. For me, it is more than just making drawings. My sketchbook is a rich and wonderful experience and source of creativity.
My mini - sketchbook personalized with Maryanne Oliver’s drawings. I always have it in my bag and I usually use it when I’m traveling.
Personally I think that keeping a drawing notebook has many advantages.

WHY I USE A SKETCHBOOK?
1. Practice traditional sketching and painting to develop my drawing skills. Keep my fashion design passion alive.
2. Draw faster than digital
3. Daily record there my ideas and drawings, like into a journal
4. Brainstorming
5. Make plans, organize my creative ideas into big fashion design projects

For these drawings I used Ink Pen and HB Mechanical Pencil
So, for me, nothing replace the pleasure of hand drawing into my sketchbook. Even my lovely Wacom Tablet ( and … this is another pleasure to talk about but … into a future post )
