Inspired by Antonio Gaudi’s architecture

In the last period of time, I had the pleasure to work on a new collection of oversized clutch bags for Rue des Trucs spring summer collection.

Rue des Trucs are two young romanian designers which work I always appreciated and valued.

Both collections ( the clothing collection and the clutch bags ) are inspired by Gaudi’s Barcelona, the solar city in which metropolitan chic merges with art and history. As a walk on the famous Las Ramblas, the spring/summer 2012 collection is a spectacular meeting of forms, urban and cosmopolite spirit, tradition and seaside.

“Created around the graceful and elevated figure of Keira Knightley the collection of clothing reaffirm the simplicity and the fine details, exploring natural forms and archaic geometries inspired by Gaudi’s architecture and associated with basic elements of the costume.” said Rue des Trucs

Dominant colors for the clothes: gray, golden cream, white, sand, navy blue, highlighted by Trencadis mosaic, specific for Gaudi ‘s style.

Dominant colors for the bags: gray, golden cream, white, sand, navy blue, reddish brown.
